whats up! i am rebuilding stock jdm h22 for all motor. it was turbo, but motor gave me one finger salute! now head is being port & polish by ed hale. intake valve job will be five angle, and the exhaust valves will be radius cut. Thay will also be stock sized, maybe .5 over. The stock rods will be shot peened and polished with balanced crank. (maybe h23).
This is where I need your help. what type of cams do you guys recomend and which pistons? I will run cali crap gas primarily. the second question is, how much power can this make and how high can i safely rev it? (s&r as well). tuning will be with stock obd1 and vafc 2. Thankx in advance for all of your help! yuo have saved me so much!

 

get prelude type-s pistons, should set the cr around 11:1, i'd go with s2s2 and portflow valvetrain. get good set of headers like imagine engineering, good exhaust. consider uberdata for tuning

 

thanx for input! turbo played out. to easy to buy one, slap it on and be fast! Besides, all motor gets way more respect.
