I wouldnt say safer, but wet kit have a better misture then dry kit, and it's not that much more expensive then dry, get a wet kit instead

as far as brand goes, it's pretty much up to up

and since you asked

NX>NOS>ZEX

most of the new kit have a magic computer box so you wouldnt be melting your piston left and right.
Bottle warmer is a good investment, but dont get the zex one because it seems to be faulty all the time

research more before you put the kit on, stuffs like A/F ratio, launch RPM, shift point, red line, fuel pressure ,etc

Oh..btw how much your local place charge for a lb?

I talked to a local shop and they were telling me that zex is the best thing on the market rite now so what is really the best and one of my friends that has zex says the dry is better but so far I'm leaning toward wet but still havent found what brand I want

Zex is the easiest to install in my opinion, you basically run the line for the bottle from the trunk to under the hood, tap a few wires, and put the nozzle in the intake tract somewhere.

About wet vs. dry, wet is much safer because as it adds more nitrous, it's adding fuel as well to compensate for it. So you don't have to worry about running too lean, or detontating, etc.

I'd go for a NX or NOS wet kit personally, but ZEX is the easiest to install. Good luck!

ive been running a nx kit for about 2 yrs. its great.

the dry vs wet thing it really personal preference. i myself am WET kit biased. i know plenty of people that have been running dry kits without a problem, remember nitrous doesnt blow motors, the drivers using it do.

i am wet kit biased because
a) has its own fuel solenoid and doesnt rely on manipulating the (fpr vacuum) fuel pressure and injectors.
b) although honda manifolds dont take to well to fuel flowing through them i still trust the fuel and nitrous atomization (mixing) a wet kit does compared to a dry kit spraying only nitrous and using the injectors add fuel to the mix. some people say dry kits have a tendency to lean out cyl #1 due to uneven nitrous/fuel atomization. i dont have any experiece cuz ive never owned a dry kit but ive read a few people that had this happen.
c)out of all the kits ive seen/installed the NX solenoids look to be of superior quality.
d)later down the line if you decide to get serious with nitrous and you can easily convert a wet single fogger kit to a direct port or plate kit(wish they made one for the F/H series) easily.
d) wet kits are much easier to tune with the ability to manual adjust the FPR fuel pressure and/or changing fuel jets etc etc...

zex dry kit is a good kit, great for starters, real easy to install but theres not much left for serious tuning. zex also makes a wet kit but i havent had a chance to check it out yet, im sure it still has the big purple barney box though.
