Default HELP!!! Major car problem...

Hello, I have a 2004 Honda Accord. There was a rain storm that recently hit southern california, and due to poor sewage drainage, there was flooding in my neighborhood.

The water level rose to just above the tires, flooding the interior. The engine will not start, it just cranks.

What do I do? More rain is in the forecast, is there something specific I need to dry, or clean out.

We tried moving the car (pushing) up my driveway (which is an upramp). While we weren't successful, a lot of water came out of the exhaust.

I'd appreciate any help on this matter and the sooner the better!

Thank you!!!

We also have a BMW that was under the same amount of water (1985), but that started fine.

pull the spark plugs out and crank the motor and watch the water fly out, when you think most of the water is out, dry the plugs put them back in and try to start it

yeah, the water got into the exhaust... it was only when the car was tilted (driveway) did the water come out.
