Yup, just as in the topic, he drives:
92 Honda Civic Hatch Back, doesn't know the model since its debadged (he bought it like that).

Apparantly the "colors" were wrong on the battery in the minivan he was boosting it from and he didnt check for positive etc.

Anyways, of course now he has no power, and the car wont start. Which fuse would this be ? (he has no owners manual) .. 80amp and one that is screwed down is what we are assuming ..

Can anybody please not flame my friend (through me) and let me know the troubleshooting steps ? I did a search and didnt find anything specific to this car

Check 'em all. Mainly the ones under the hood in the fuse box.

 

Yep..under the hood theres a main battery fuse....Check that one out

 

it is most likely the 80 amp one in the under hood fuse box.

 

thx much guys, it was the 80 amp fuse.

replaced it, I boosted (dint let him touch) and all is good to go! fired right up.
