Default Valve cover HELP NEEDED REALLY BAD

Mugen (not sure how to spell) valve cover for a SOHC i have been told by 2 people that its a knock off so i was wondering if you guys knew if mugen really did make a valve cover for a SOCH it would be an even swap for my stock one which is odd because arent they really expensive.

I don't think Mugen bothers with the SOHC....which is unfortunate because it leaves people like you and me out in the cold....i'd say have yours painted or even TENZO R makes nice ones for SOHC

mugen did make one for SOHC it was 800 dollars and for d16 non-vtec models, where the spark plugs are in the back near the intake mani. And i bet the one u are trading for it a knock-off i can guarantee it

I hate companies that make Knock-offs!!!
Makes all of us second-guess damn-near everything on the internet!!
Most likely a knock-off.... sorry bro. Just pull-off the stock one and paint it. Better-yet get it powder-coated.

Umm not really. Knock offs are good viable options for some things (such as valve covers that dont make your car go any faster...) And you can ALWAYS tell by the price and seller if it is on ebay. Everyone knows Mugen **** (and anything else JDM for that matter) is exspensive, so if you find a deal that makes you question the integfrity...then it is probably a knock off

spending 800 bucks on a valve cover is like spending $800 on a pile of sand

How do you need an entirely new valve cover for a missing bolt? Mine I just replaced the bolt in the head. Then again I have a SOHC D15B7

I broke a valve cover bolt once and just replaced it in the head. Well, more specifcily came up with an alternative. But it's not like there are bolts cast into the valve cover so what are you talking about?

Yep... just get it if you like it. Dont worry about it being real or anything. 800$ on a Valve Cover is absurd. 5$ is pretty good.

Yeah, I have seen some Mugen ones for SOHC, not only are they rare, they are expensive as **** if you actually get your hands on one.
