WOuld it be easier ifi took out healights?
i have a 95 accord ex... one of the headlights went out.. the side where the battery is located.. there is really no space for me to squeeze my hand in there.. plus on the left side of the battery is the intake thingy with the intake box in back of it.. so should i take out the bolts for the headlight and bull the headlight out a little to install it or any suggestions?? plus i need a really quick installation cuz the snow out there isnt that friendly.. dont wanna freeze my butt off
That intake thingy pops out. Just give it a good pull and it should come right out. Then you will have plenty of room and when you are done you can just put it right back in. At least that is how it is on my 96ex. Hope that helps.
There is a tube that pulls out in from of the intake that you can pull out, if you still have the stock box, then take the battery holder off and use a long pair of channel locks to turn the back of the head light and pull out. If you take out the headlight it's going to take a lot longer. This if what did and it didn't take to long. Just a suggestion I am sure others have some as well.
yea, just take the top of the airbox off and that makes it easier. There is also the radiator reserve tank up against the battery which just pops right out, i wouldn't suggest taking the headlights out, i tried and its a pain.
