Default BEST EXHAUST!! RS-R ExMag or GREDDY EVO2

I have a fully built LS/VTEC swapped into my eg hatch. I have recently aquired a jdm type-r header and hi-flow cat. I am currently looking for a cat-back exhaust system. I absolutely HATE LOUD EXHAUST!!!. I would like to sound as close to stock as possible. So far I have narrowed down my options to two. The First being the Greddy EVO2 and the second being the RS-R ExMag(not the GT). It has been extremely difficult finding out any specs on both exhaust systems. So far I am leaning towards the RS-R ExMag exhaust because I read somewhere that it was 89dB, however I am not sure how accurate this information is. I also heard the RS-R exMag made good power gains, better than most of it's competitors. If anyone has any experience with either of these systems please share them. If you have another system that you believe is better please share as well. Remember I want to make power, but my first concern is quietness!!! Thanks for your help in advance.

Then go with the RS*R.

My thoughts on it are in here towards the bottom:

Can't really verify the db level, but you can't hear it while cruising on the highway.

Your search for exhaust returned 148 results.

If you want a quiet exhaust, leave the stock one on. Other than that, the ExMag would be a good choice.

Well I'm running into the same problem in picking an exhaust I'm gonna be running Bc3's w/ mild valve-train upgrades. I keep hearing the term bottle necking the power, with the exhaust size. Now I don't know about you but a fully built motor should have a nice free flowing exhaust 2.5 inch pipping. With the options you r giving yourself I would go Exmag, but look into HKS, APEX'i, T1R just to name a few. There gonna be louder, but you will see better gains. Quoting a friend..........."Quite doesn't equal power"
O I'm getting a HKS Hi-Power, it has to be the sickest sounding Honda exhaust every. Tone at idle, full throttle, cruising, it doesn't matter it sounds amazing. I've heard alot of exhaust, and if I'm gonna get anything other than the quite RsR Exmag, it would be the HKS

I would say RS*R Ex-Mag or APEXi WSII

Both very subtle tones, and have proven to be very nice systems from other members.

I kinda like the stealth look of the Ex-Mag, so cops dont harass us here in So Cali.

I'm going to have to agree with RS*R as well. Black canister, nice and quiet keeps a low profile.
