Default OEM GSR Header better than LS ?

Has anyone measured the primaries or Secondary/Collector ?

Would switching from a stock LS header to a stock GSR header result in any gains ?

For sure it will bolt to the head... a slight cut and weld will have it meet the B pipe... that's not a problem.

Any one know about power gains or at least if the primary or collector on the GSR is bigger ?

it the primary on the gsr is a little larger than the ls(1mm) also where the 2 haves meet it is also a little larger(1.75 for the vtec manifold, i forget the ls measurement but its just a hair smaller). the gsr downpipe(second half) wil be 2 short to bolt up to a ls exhaust/cat plus the gsr uses the primary 02 in the front part of the car rather than the downpipe so that will have to be added. if you want a dirct replacement look for a used usdm type r exhauxt manifold. thats what i got it runs a little better according to the butt dyno, i dont have any real dyno numbers.

if there are any differences, it woudl be minor. I 'd recommend getting an aftermarket 4-1 header for more breathing in the upper rev region.

The question is not for me... it's for someone else w/ an LS. I need something that can flow much more than stock...

Any improvement it possibly provided would definitely not be worth the time, effort, or cost of installing it (and I'm not even confident there would be a measurable improvement anyway). If he's looking for a cheap OEM "upgrade", the USDM ITR manifold will bolt right up, and would be the highest-performace (if you can call it that) option out of stock USDM Integra manifolds. That being said, even the ITR manifold probably isn't worth the time of swapping out, but at least it's a direct bolt-on solution that requires no additional modifications. Out of curiosity, why does this individual want to swap to another stock manifold?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm not looking for suggestions.... I just wanna know about the gsr vs ls. I have the gsr stocker and will prolly throw on an itr manifold soon. A buddy with an LS mani would like to use my old gsr unit if it's worth any kinda power.
