Washington State Greddy Turbo owners
I plan on getting a Greddy turbo kit for my Z6 daily driver, and I'm just curious as to where Washington state drivers have gotten their e-Manage tuned?? Not to many dynos on the Eastside so any help would be great

i don't think there are any shops that specialize in tuning the E manage in the seattle area but i'm sure one of them could figure it out. The basic concepts still applies to all fuel management. you probably could just find someone with a wideband and tune the thing yourself. either that or look into some of the rom editors out there.... Actually, Wade at Intec Racing in Kent prefers the E-manage system over any of the others out there and from what I've heard he does a pretty good job.
Also, my buddy had his turbo b16 hatch tuned at Carb Connection and got shitty numbers. FIRST I have to say that the car drives like its stock, which Carb Conn. makes no bones about the fact that that is what they go for first. However, his 50 trim t3/t4 .63 a/r on the cold side .60 on the hot side, 440cc inj., hondata s100 and open downpipe only made 192 hp at 5lbs. He's got a probably with it holding any more boost then that. However, they said they didn't want to "push the stock motor" which most tuners seem to know now a days that the stock motors limits are quite a bit higher then that.
I was thinking of having my gsr hatch tuned there. 60trim t3/o4e .63 a/r compressor .60 on the hot side, 550's, hondata s200, 3"downpipe, 2 1/2 in. exhaust, skunk 2 intake manifold. They believe that 240 would be about the max I would see on that setup at 7.5 psi which to me is a bit low. Granted, I GURANTEE it would drive like stock as there tuners do a great job in that area, however, I'd be a little disappointed with the power numbers if i paid all that money for tuning. I guess it would be a way of saving me from myself and not popping the motor, but I dunno...
Take that for what its worth. Also, the shop told me of a turbo gsr hatch they tuned (trying to sell what they can do for me when they heard that i was interested) and told me they made 289hp on a stock block, but it took them 16psi from the same size turbo as mine to do it. That just doesn't sound right.
Cliffnotes: Intec Racing in Kent does e-manage. Carb Connections tuners can make your turbo honda run like stock, but for some damn reason, can't find bigger power.

Carb connection is too conservative. any good tuner can make your car run like stock. that doesnt mean **** nowadays...with a good tune you will drive like stock out of boost and it will be crazy as **** once oyu hit boost. i had my car streetuned by david lee (leed) and he did a kick *** job.. transition from partial throttle to boost was unnoticable but boy did she pull. just find your self a tuner who is comfortable and not afraid to push your car too the limits to find its potential. i was scared shitless when david was tunning my car hahaha after each WOT pull at 3rd gear i would be like are you done yet then he would be like one more... this went on till about 4am in the morning..
