Accord Coupe Type R
Here's the link http://www.superstreetonline.com/roadtests/8175/
I was wondering is it possible for me to do that to a regular V6 Coupe?
Can I just convert my car into a Auto Tranny w/ Sport Shifter?
How do you guys think they made this car?

I remember when that article came out and I have been waiting to see that car go into production. Could you imagine if they sold it in the states, I would sell my right ********, 300 hp stock, sweet.

what is it you want to achieve? a 300hp V6 with an auto tranny? just a conversion to a sport-shift auto tranny? suspension upgrades to match the handling the car supposedly has? i'm going to assume you're not asking about the chameleon paint job or carbon fiber bumpers or 5-spoke 18" wheels. or at least i hope you're not.
300hp at the crank is achievable, but the stock auto tranny isn't going to be able to handle it. i really don't think a sport shift auto would be able to handle it either (if you notice, the one honda used in this car was "custom"). 300 N/A crank hp, like this car, would take a butt-load of money.
conversion to a sport-shift auto... why? no, seriously... why?? why spend all that money just to have, *gasp* another automatic transmission? it would probably be cheaper (yet still expensive) to swap a CL-S (or TL-S) 6-speed manual.

I'm just basically asking can i convert a reg. v6 coupe into something similar to that. Powerwise (300hp on a auto tranny).
Well, yea the CLS and TLS swap are more powerful. Guess u're right.
But all in all that car was sick, wonder why they never put that into production?
*ps* i've always wondered something, which would be better on a 98-99 v6 coupe? Supercharger or custom-Turbo?

He could use a full drivetrain conversion from a CL-S/TL-S. I'd probably use an 04+ TL though, since the earlier ones have tranny problems. This will give him 270 HP at the crank, 5 speed automatic, and the sport shift if he cares. Getting another 30 HP wouldn't be hard with various bolt ons and/or headwork.
A conversion to sport shift would probably be easier than a manual swap. I know a guy who did a V6 auto to V6 stick swap, he says there was a lot of custom work involved including welding in the clutch pedal. A straight auto for auto conversion you would probably only need the auto shifter. Cost of either transmission is gonna be expensive.

We asked and were very politely told that quite a bit of the car was “custom.” We found out later that the AC-R has more than 100 exclusive parts. In their defense I don’t think it was ever Honda’s intention to give us all the details on the car.
you just have a find out where's the 100 parts and CNC all the crap.

6th gen V6s are known to have weak auto trannies. If you were serious about power, I'd swap transmissions to a later/stronger version.

I wana convert to a Sport-shifter because due to my family. It wont be jsut be driving. My fiance will also be driving the car and she cant drive a stickshift.
Now as for the conversion, so all i need is a CLS or TLS transmission inorder to do the conversion? I can still keep the same engine (3.0L 200HP) of the 6th Gen coupe right?

you need the tranny, ecu, axles and other misc. parts.
i have seen 98-02 v6 coupes with cl type-s swaps engine, 6 speed tranny from what i was told they use the same mounts except tranny. different ecu, axles. same wiring harness. with a little head work, headers, supercharger you can own a beast, for a price!
