i have a 89 crx si and i just got a b18a ls for free and judging if i should put it in which i will be doing my self. my goal is install a b18c gsr and if if i end up installing the b18a ls i will be buying every thing mounts,shift links,axles, ect. my ? is if i buy every thing for the ls out of every thing i buy can i use any of it for the gsr or will i have to buy a whole new set up. is it a waste to buy the set up for the ls if im gonna get a gsr or should i just go for it. thanks for the help

 

Mounts, shiftlinkage, and axles will all be the same between the ls and gsr.

 

do you know if the LS will drop in with no problems or should i expect a little difficulty

 

i hate to say it but put a little effort into this by searching. its ALMOST a bolt in affair with the mounts. You will have to bang in the rear crossmember and notch out some room for the alternator. But dude honestly search its been convered a million times.
