about the CAT converter
so i was putting on my new exhaust today.. or rather just switching out my tanabe for a greddy.. anyways, long story sort, one of the studs on my CAT got fucked up and the bolt wont go in any more.i tried as best i could but i think it just fell off.. my question is.. how bad is this? running the cat to b-pipe with only 2 bolts? TIA

well the thing is.. ive been drivin it around.. drove about 20 miles with 2 bolts. haha seems to be fine.. makes some funny noises some times.. im guessing its exhaust leak.

That sounds about right. Plus there is a gasket that belongs between the cat and the b pipe. When my car didnt have one it would rattle a lot. You might be able to go to a muffler shop and get them to weld a stud back on there.
the studs on the cat arent welded in there to begin with. if you want you can take it back off and smack the threaded side of the bolt with a hammer and knock it out and just run a bolt with a nut.
