Thermostat replacement- 91 accord
Whatup.. A friend of mine told me that her temp. needle is staying on C and she has no heat. She said that when the car sits and idles the needle will come up a little but once she starts movign it drops back down to C. My guess is the t-stat is stuck open but I never have worked with a honda before so that's what brought me here. I am unable to look at the car until tomorrow or possible Wednesday so I figured I'd try to get a little knowledge beforehand.
Do 91 accords come with any different engine options?
Does anyone have a DIY or maybe some simple instructions to change the t-stat if that is the culprit? I've read about where it is (follow the lower rad hose to the block) but no actual directions on changing it.
I am 100% confident I can do it but I just want to know if there are any tricks or pain in the *** things to lookout for. I am used to PITA procedures as I am a VR6 man.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

as for the tstat, drain coolant(u dont NEED to drain it all, but may as well change it all while youre doin this), follow the upper rad hose to the block, the piece its connected to is held on by two 14mm(i believe) bolts, take those out, take out the old tstat and gasket, in with the new, bolt it back up, and fill up the coolant, should take maybe 1/2 hour at most
