noob question - gotta love em (spoiler removal)
Im looking into a '94 ls and i want to rid of the stock spoiler. im guessing there are just 2 holes that have screws in them, but whats the best way to plug them?
The 4 mounting holes are small. I have seen threads highlighting how to plug those. Search for it. There is an additional hole on the driver side that has no real purpose and a large hole (~1" diameter) on the passenger side for the wiring harness. You need to have body and paint work done to fill the large hole. Unfortunately, your best bet is to keep the spoiler.
I had a ricer wing on my car and i just took it off, it had 4 half inch holes. So just until winter is over i went to the parts store, and got Body-Tite panel/trim retainers, and just put some black silicone around the top of them and put them it, they fit like a glove and are almost flush with the trunk lid itself. Then when winter is over, just pull em out and start welding plugs in..etc
