Default cusco strut bar

My cusco carbon fiber front upper bar doesnt seem to reach all the way across to the mounting points. It gets real close but not to the right spot if that makes any sense. Has anyone had this problem with these bars? Any info would be greatly appreciated...thanks

did you jack up the car off the ground in the center to get the weight off the car?

no but i wouldnt think that would matter. It mounts where the si/gsr/jdm eg bar mounts. It doesnt mount to the strut bolts.
