i was thinking about puting some guages into the area were the cup holders use to be but i do not know what i should use to make it out of or how to do it? has anyone ever done this before and could kinda send me in the right direction with it that would be greatly appreshated

what car do you have?

if there is a DIN slot available (the size and shape bay that your cd player uses) then they sell DIN size holders that will fit three 52mm (2 1/16") gauges. Search ebay.
