Default How should i drop my car?

I have a 5th gen prelude. Wat are some opinions on how to drop my car? I want some decent suspension so cheap lowering springs are out of the question. Should i get a shock and spring combo? Coilovers? I just got new tires so should i get a camber kit to prevent my tires from getting eaten up? My price range is $300-$700.

Anybody have any feedback about buying parts of Ebay? They always a little cheaper then most websites but I got a feeling the quality isnt the same.

I have a friend who works at Pro Spec Performance in Quincy, Ma. He use to deal Tien suspension until about a year ago. He had been selling their systems since about 1998 and he said very recently the quality has gone down and he has been having alot of angry customers with blown out shocks and struts. Now he only deals Tanabe, which is what I highly recommend. The Tanabe Sustec Pro SS is the setup I have on my car and I absolutly love it, however, I have no Tien experiance so i can't really compare.

TEIN and Tanabe are really expensive and you probably don't really need these sets unless you are road racing. With the budget you're talking about I'd probably stick with some Eibachs and some Konis. My set up is Skunk2 springs ($230) with Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustables ($440) with Technica camber adj. kits ($200). Depending on how low you drop your car you'll want a camber kit. Good luck

Dude, beat out everything and go with a set of d2's from urban import. They are the ****! I am selling my setup of skunk2 and KYB AGX to get some in the future. THey are the best buy! 36-way dampening adjustablity, adjustable preload, billet aluminum body, everything! They are like 900 shipped total. Do it right the first time, thats what i wish i had done
