I just purchasd a JDM **** for my 96 DB8 and it came folded in half like some ebay shipped ****. Does anyone know how I can remove the creases on the lip? This really sucks to pay $149.00 for a lip and they cant even ship the **** decently. So far I am not happy with the shitty lip.

 

i think your supposed to heat it up with a hair dryer or somehting and straighten it out, then put it on.

barring that....I'd ask for a refund or an exchange for something that is shipped properly. Good luck with the fix and let us know how it turns out

 

yeah, i would totally ask for a new one or a refund. but a heatgun should be able to reshape it.

 

nah its ok dont worry about it all the lip on ebay and jdmshit.com they always ship it like that just use a blow dryer and heat it up so it folds back without leaving a crease

 

yeah i had the same problem, but I bought it off a member here and it came folded at two points. tried the heating method and it worked but you can still see a slight fold from where it was folded before.

Is there a place I can buy one thats not folded like that?

 

Every polyurethane ITR lip I have seen has been shipped folded in half, comptech, ebay, watever. Your supposed to leave it in the sun for a day or two, or if your in a colder area leave it by a heater duct in the house or take a blow dryer to it.

i dont see why mugen,oem ctr,and spoon doesnt come all bent in half

 

Comptechs come folded in half too. Just unfold it, leave it in the sun and it will straighten out. Or use a blowdryer...no big deal. Why do you think its so cheap to ship it?

those are fiberglass, urethane, and carbon fiber, they can't bend in half

true....but like the one guy said earlier in the post...the cf ones don't bend (more like cant n should never be bent) so i'm thinking of one of those....
