My tranny started grinding into 2nd and 3rd gear at first. Only at high RPM at first.
I thought it might be the synchro's. Then it started in all the gears except 5th but still only at high speeds. So I still thought it was the synchro's. Then it started getting real hard to put the car in gear, almost had to jam it into gear. Now the car is impossible to get into any gear without having to put alot of pressure on the shifter. It does however go into gear easy if the car is off. could this just be a clutch replacement issue?

 

oh yah it might help if I say what the car is. 90 1.8 ls in a 89 civic HB
