Sup guys i came up with some money from xmas. I am looking for a decent belt sander for metal working. Which one are you guys using and recomend? I am lookat at this delta model but its for wood. http://www.woodworking-heaven....shtml

I have a Delta... the funny thing is I never use it. I use the grinding wheel and Scotchbright disk a LOT, and a 12" sanding wheel... but never the belt sander... but that's just me.

BTW, I don't see why you couldn't use the one you're looking at for metal, just change the belt...

 

i just got thes one from hf .. no complaints .. nice machine .. get diff belts tho .. ones it comes with are weaksauce ..
and its cheap -er ..
