Hey all I had a question. I got an '01 S2000 and the plastic windshiel in the back has a crack in it. Anyone know how to replace this thing without having to go to the dealer?

Also can I convert it over to the glass one without changing the top?

you can replace the plastic.. i think it just comes off. and you place the other one in.. i might be wrong tho..... and as for changing it over to glass you need to get the whole top.... but i think it would be worth it... (looks nicer, dont' have to worry about it cracking, easier to keep clean, rear defroster... )....

 

Not for everyone, but you can do it. Give yourself a few days, time and patience. Otherwise, just replacing the top takes 16 shop hours (yes, two full days). Estimate in cost/labor is ~$1600, slightly more for glass.
