What kind of metal are the Denso and the Toyota Rads for the 94 Accord EX ?
Aluminum or the older copper/brass core type?
I have Stant pressure tester and they list two different adapters for those two Radiators for a 94 Honda Accord. I never new they had two different rads for that vehicle.
1. How can I tell which Rad I have, so I can get the proper adapter?
2. I have a very slight leak at the upper right corner of the rad (the battery area). It does not run out or even drip down but just stays wet and steams a little when hot. It's not using much coolant. Still I need to plug it or get another rad. I'm hesitant putting any money into this particular vehcile. It's high mileage and beat up by former owner. So, would you go for a metal powder type sealer (silver or gold?)or other type? I do not think a strong sealer like "Bars Leak", i.e., "glass silica," is a good choice for this type of leak. But I would like to hear for anyone who sucessfully sealed up their rad without messing up any other components of the cooling system. I have a new water pump of this vehicle.
Can small leaks like this be welded?

i have no idea of the core material they use on 5th gen
but there's 2 type you'll see, the slightly larger radiator from automatic(with ATF cooler built in) and manual/stick/standard shift radiator.
as far as top adapter goes, they are all the same.
the thing is, the top and the lower end tanks are make of plastic, which cannot be welded. JBweld or other bonding agent will leaks a few month before 1.2bar of pressure overcome the bond.
you could find a new oem replacement for around 80-100, installation is super easy.
