When the car is running which side of the timing belt should have slack? Just curious if my timing belt is tensioned wrong or not. Or I may have stretched it.

Is there a way I can tighten the slack up or properly tension the belt without removing everything again.

u have to take the belt off again and play with it .
I use the old bicylcle trick own how u put ur chain back on.

First loosen the tensioner I take it and be sure thats it TDC. and give it a turn so the cams rotate counter clockwise. a inch or inch and a half. and then put the belt back on and rotate the cams back to TDC where the lines meet up. then tighten the tensioner. that always works for me
