I have a quick queston, I have an integra GSR 97 and want to get a Skunk2 intake manifold with a JG Throttle body woch is 65mm. Now, alot of people says that when you change the stock IM for a GSR Skunk2 IM you need to have a Type R intake? Can you told me if i can make fit a GSR V2 and why it wont fit? if not what's the difference between a GSR skunk2 manifold an a Type R Skunk2 intake MAnifold?

the gsr intake won't fit due to the position of the throttle body compared to the skunk2 manifold

 

The GSR SK2 is essentially an ITR intake mani with larger runners and a GSR head flange. The Sk2 mani sits the TB a couple inches higher so hacking and wacking will be needed to make a GSR intake fit.

 

use the ITR intake if you dont already own the part, if you do own the part, hack it up

if you get the sk2 IM, unless you have upgraded your cams, don't go for larger JG TB, it doesn't help, you would lose flow velocity, i would upgrade to something at least ITR intake cam...

 

I'm buying all my parts and will build the motor in february...Skunk2 stage 2 are on the way..
