suspension adjustment
hey guys
i got my itr some time ago.
but i ve a question regarding the suspension.
there is an SRR C1 Suspension installed from the pre owner.
but i cant lower the car more than this setting you see here.
if i put the A parts more down the spring just wankles around.
what is position b for? it s a ring, hard to move, but if you move the entire winding moves with! can i adjust the height with that also?
from normal german suspensions i just know 2 springs, 1 big and 1 little "help" spring.
please help me guys. as i don t have any papers for the suspension.
here is the pic from front arch:

If you unbolt the lower part of the shock section (B) from the suspension arm, you can then rotate it and this will either lower or raise the car. Buddy Club suspensions are similar.
thanks man
that was what i wanted to know and allready thought. so the upper section A is just for the spring hardness adjustment.
very good answer.

No. Spring stiffness cannot be changed.....
If the spring just 'wankles around' (like opie
) while the car is on stands, thats fine - it will be compressed with the car on the ground.
