If you're looking to mod the car to go faster, you picked the absolute most horrible vehicle to do it with.

If you want to surprise some people, drop in a K series... that's about your best bet short of selling it for an Si or RSX.

I'm really not looking at modding the crap out of it. I went from a prelude to a Hyundai XG300L then I went back to honda b/c of the gas milage.

I guess what I want is this.....

I miss the compact shifting feel of the prelude....the civic makes me feel like I'm driving a 5 speed truck

I wanted to get the car up to at least 165 hp if possible. I took a peak under the hood to see how a CAI would do....I'm not sure what all that tubing is after the intake manifold...maybe its for throttle response so I'm not too sure what would happen if I gutted that and put a CAI in its place.

I'd like an exhaust but not a loud one at all....just something to help imrove the performance of the car...

Do these cars run lean/rich? How reliable is the engine? its got 56k on it right now.

Aesthetically, I like the look...trying to keep the clean look...it needs some nice wheels....the hubcaps kind'a turn me off....I want to know why one of the little lights between the headlights and the turn signal is dimmer than the other...

Its just simple stuff I'd like to do.....

I know dropping a K or H series engine would be nice but I'm strapped for that kind of $ as I am getting my own place shortly. I just want a little driving fun in my soon to be boring life of 2 full-time jobs.....
