Default chirp chirp- which alarm?? SOUND FILE INCLUDED!

For curiosity's sake I ask: Which alarm is it that has the familiar double chirp to it? It sounds very high end and is on nearly every movie when a car alarm is armed. Very nice, clean, and expensive sounding if there is such a sound.

Yea I know this is broad but somebodys got to know this.

I was told:
old alpine 8081 (1996-1998)had a siren wih selectable chirps, and they sounded like that factory, but you could change it.

I'll try and find a sound byte but no promises. You'd recognize this chirp chirp. I think of bmw's for some reason.

I know exactly what you are talking about! I also would like to know so I can upgrade my siren. I am tired of the same ol chirp everyone has... viper/prestige.

My Python alarm + DEI siren with battery backup sounds pretty close to what is in the soundclip. It chirps twice upon disarming.

How close? Could you mistake your arm sound with this one if you just heard it?

bmw alarm transmitters from the mid to late 90s were identical to the 3 button companion remote found on the sea8081. alpine oemed their alarms.

you might be able to see if pacparts.com has any repalcement sirens.

That sound is from the alpine alarm series. I own a few of them and have
intstalled tons of them. Great siren...starts soft get louder. My fave is still the old
code alarm with the three tone harmonics..add that with the typical six tone
and your good to go.

my alpine sec-150r sounds just like it. The siren overall i like it, but then it's not loud enough for me. Sometimes i cannot hear when it's armed/disarmed

the alpine 8081 and 8063 had a different siren than the 100s or 150r. sounds like the "typical" movie alarm.
