Default Removing Steering wheel from 91 Si

How do I remove the wheel from a 91 Civic Si? I'm putting a momo on it.

Thanks.

POP the center out. Use a 19mm on the center hub bolt, and you're done. Be sure to keep the wheels straight when you do this that way you put the momo on straight.

If it isn't a 19, its a 17mm. I haven't done it in a little while. Also, obviously you'll have moved the wheel by breaking the bolt loose. Be sure to put it back to straight before you remove the steering wheel.

Does the center "H" pop out on a Civic Si? I figured that I'd have to take the entire horn cover off.

Not to get nit-picky, but it's a nut, not a bolt, and a bit of advice, loosen the nut off all the way, then spin it back on a couple turns before you pull the wheel off. If the wheel sticks, and then pops off...

And trust me, you will get the wheel on off-center the first time you do it, so be prepared to pull it off again

Yeah, MUCH easier than replacing the wheel on my ITR. The horn even was easy on the EF.

While I was at it, I put a 99-00 Civic oem CD player in the dash too. That was a piece of cake as well.

Todd00, What all did it take to put in the 00 Si Cd player.. I'd like one in my car so If it gets stolen, I'm not so pissed!

TypeR0207 WOW, that Momo shift **** looks nice n HUGE on the end of the STD's pole of a shifter My buddy's got the same only a smoked color on his Black (9 GSR... it's pretty sweet, but carries alot of heat/cold with it whenever you use it... COLD when it's cold outside and HOT AS HELL when it's hot out, which is exactly why I got rid of my CTR shift ****... Screw that. I bought a nice N comfy Leather GSR ****

Go to BestBuy and buy both adapters, into the radio and into the oem wiring harness.

The radio sits in the dash fine, but you do need to find a way to secure it in the back so that it won't come flying out.

I got a cheapy short shift kit, and put that **** on it.

I was mistaken in thinking it would be the size of my old Momo Cobra **** I had ...... but it works for me. The shifter is blue anodized though, so it looks kinda funky with the clear **** .......

Just rigged up a way to hold it secure near the back. Once you're back there looking, you'll see a few things jump out at you. It's pretty simple.
