Just looked my ITR up on carfax.com and found something interesting....
Well i never really looked my car up on carfax.com for anything else then an accident report before i bought it, but i just looked it up again to look at everything in detail and i found out that they have something wrong. They have my mileage a little more that 2k miles over what it is suppose to be! My ITR has almost 62K on it might now, but carfax is saying i have 64,209 miles on her. I looks likes Acura screwed up the mileage last time i was in there. Since it says it got that number from a Service station.
I guess i am just worried about what it means. I really don't drive my ITR that much anymore since i got a second car. I have only put 1k on it in like 6 months. So whats going to happen the next time i take it in for service and they copy down the mileage correctly? Is it going to show up in carfax as odometer fraud??
Just curious to see what you guys think and what you think i should do about it? I am not planning on selling the car, but you never know what might come up.
Thanks guys

Just make sure you let them know next time you bring it in what your situation is. If they record a lower mileage than the last one for an inspection, then you'll probably get a note on your title stating "not actual mileage."
If the mileage is over what they recorded the next time, then you have nothing to worry about.

Carfax doesn't get any information from dealership service records, only from information provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
