How can you tell if the stock motor is in the car or not?

You can look for the chasis code in the VIN # and then check to see if the type of motor matches the chasis code.
IE: Chasis Code: DC2
therefore it could either be a GSR or ITR and so the block in the car should either be a b18c1 or a b18c5
