i've heard bad things about japanstar. if you're going to pick the motor up then i'd recommend going to noyan motors which is very close to japanstar. i've had friends get 3 motors from noyan's and ran awesome. the first b20 that was picked up from japanstar was not looking very clean under the valvecover.

I went with Japan Star and i had a great experience. I picked up an ITR motor and it ran like a champ. It had almost no wear on the engine, maybe 15,000 miles. The customer service was great. I also picked up a GSR brake conversion from there too. They will negociate as well to give u the best price. Good luck
