EG radiator into ED mount fabrication
I'm working on this currently. I was going to add them to my (aftermarket) crossmember, but that is a stressed member, and is more likely to flex independantly of the top mount...isn't it? So I have been thinking of adding them to the radiator support instead.
Which seems like a better location, the rad support or crossmember?

Doesn't jimfab (or one of the companies that makes the xmembers) have an optional mount for that? I'm 90% sure they do, so I'd think the crossmember would be fine.

EG rads are fairly tall - i think your only option is the crossmember. i still had to modify my hood a little bit to get it to fit on my CM.. it will be fine.

Put the mounts on your cross member. If you want to really do it nice, fab it up so you can use the two factory rubber mounts than the radiator pegs sit into. That will allow the radiator to move a bit.
thatnks for the responses. Yeah, my plan was to drill out the welds on the factory mounts and either extend them down w/ brackets or rivit/weld them to the crossmember.
