Want to run low 13's high 12's...help!
By the end of winter, I want to try and run low 13's or high 12's on street tires. How though?? I currently have an AEM CAI and that's it! Any help from start to finish will help greatly. I would like N/A, no N20, or FI. Thanks for the help guys!
over size pistons and displacement 2.0l
mayor head work, high CR pistons 12.5
eagle rods ,hondata
jun 3 cams ,valvetrain ,toda cam gears gen2
70mm tb
hytech header
open exhaust (no cat )just 2.5 piping
vtec controller (for best tunning )
weight reduction
high 12's may be with a good driver and using cheaters

Steve is right.
I have like 5 motors that if you put into a type-R, it would hit 12's on street tires.
But when I say street tires, i mean tires that is "legal".
Call them street slicks.
M/T or BF goodrich cheaters...almost as good as slicks.

HAHAAHAHAHAAH 12'S hahahahaahha Buy another car lol if u want 12's buy a Rear Wheel Drive Car lol Mustang with a Super charger and u will hit 11's all day long
Yeah that's what annoys me...people think that this will be a 12-second car just like that. They don't understand what kind of work/investment/time/effort goes into it...would you want a dedicated drag car as your daily driver? Im not sure I would.

hey ROSS, sup.
Its not nec, a dedicated drag car, you just need like 230 WHP.
and for sure, its going to cost like 9K+ to achieve 12's on a full bodies integra.
I don't see any cheap way around it.

yeah it'll cost a shitload of $$...I was talking to a high-school R owner last night, and he was like "my goal is to get 220 whp and hit 12's"...he just didn't seem to have any idea what kind of project it is to make that kind of car. Sure Steve's car runs 12's but the man spends a shitload of time on it, not to mention he has the entire Helms manual committed to memory.

I hit a low 13 with less than a $1000 and on street tires!!!!! A 13.2 as a matter of fact.......lol...Should be 12's with just a little more work!
$9k!? you're kidding right? All you need is about 108 mph and a good driver to go 12s on street tires...rebuild with some higher compression pistons, get hondata, and a good header, cam gears, fpr, lots of tuning and you should have it. Also, get rid of all the interior behind the front seats and ditch power steering and a/c and it'll be a lot easier.
I'd say just under $4k and you'd be able to do it.
..ditch that aem intake too. Use an iceman short ram or stock air hose with a huge filter on the end.

leave the head stock, run 12's in a type-r.
like that will ever happen without like, an entire fiberglass gutted car.
Im saying you better have 220 WHP or so. And some light stuff.
220 isn't coming near your 4k..you just described MAYBE 180-185 WHP...
Im being real man....its hard. 108 MPH? Thats some serious MPH.

I think we need to make a rule on this board so we don't mislead people.
We need to list the "honest" weight of the car when these times were ran.
Because as many times I been to the track, and as many motors and customers I have, in an Integra, without severe litening...you need well over 200 WHP for 12's.
He must have been down around 2200 lbs. Which is possible.
