Just wanted some comments on my friends ride. 98 VR6 custom passat front valance, Shaved handels, hatch, Molded in subaru legacy hood scoop.

 

hmmm....looks nice, but from a go before show guy (me) i think shaving the handles was a little much ...but hey its his car, and he did a helluva job. I drove one of those GTI's and it had about 100000 times as much torque as a civic!

 

Yeah that car has crazy torque, Lots of engine mods but the car is far from complete!!

 

My friend had a yellow VR6 like that with an Eurosport intake and it was fast. Your boy's car looks pretty good though.

 

Opinions please!!! a lot of peeps looking no one is talking

 

a lot bettter than that rice piece of **** behind it.

 

I like it a lot, fast car, fun to drive. Nice blue paint. But, I'm a japanese car owner, and I believe I always will be!

That is my GTI in the pic and my buddy's SI (99SI) Just a quick question. What the hell is wrong with his SI. That car is the only reason I want one. I think that car is hella dope. Just wanted some insight on what could possibly be wrong with that car.

I like the VR6 better than the Si.

nah it is paint but we are talking about the VW here not the si.

 

The shaved handles are a little silly, but the rest of the car looks great. It could deal with a bit more of a drop, too.

The Civic, well... not so much

 

Well, thats my GTI and my friends SI. I would trade him in a heart beat!!!!

Im not trying to diss, but I thought for sure my GTI would get bashed he would get praised. This totally not what I expected. A lot of work went into that car. It does have 18in Momo Sports for it. these are winter pics. Hes got Supra Tails going on it. Fell Good wide body kit. That is going to be one hell of a civic....not that it already aint.

im jsut not a huge fan of rediculous body kits and tacky vinyl stickers. form over function. why try and make a 16second car look liek a 9second ride? supra tails? is that necessay? sounds liek a waste of money to me. jsut my opinion, not trying to "diss" on anyone

IMO, body kits and altezzas are played out, but if you like it then go for it. I dont hate on anybody elses car cuz everyone has their own style. Whoever talks **** about somebody elses car is an *******. Even though they asked for your opinion, you dont have to give them a nasty one. Just say something like "Its not my style".
