ive done some searching and im just kinda confused. i plan on getting a set of slips(15x7) for next season, cause well im poor. they come in a 40mm only. and i wanted a much lower offset. i was thinking a +32mm would be good. so what extended studs and and spacers would be recommended and any other advise you could give me. thanxx

No advantage if you have the proper offset wheels to start with

RJ is correct. As a matter of fact there is a disadvantage to spacers - you will most likely need longer studs. The only reason to use spacers is if you cannot get wheels in the offset you want.
You will see many stock class autocrossers using spacers to get the extra 1/4" track that they are allowed by the ruleset out of their stock wheels. But that is an exceptional case brought on by the rules and not by good engineering.
I would rather have a wheel with a 30mm offset then a 40mm offset wheel and a 10mm spacer; wouldn't you?

thats what im getting at. i wanted to run a 32mm wheel but in order to go that and run slips ill need longer studs and a 8mm spacer.

Why? It will rub... you'll need to roll fenders quite a bit.

I'd be interesting in hearing what you think they are.

A +32 mm offset wheel and a 8mm spacer makes the wheel +24mm off set not +40 like you think...

well... the advantages are ive heard are better for grip and such, wider stance the better grip. what i was saying was.. slipstreams only come in a +40mm offset and i would like to run a +32mm offset... so in order to do that i know im gonna have to run an 8mm spacer and extended studs. and im prepared to roll the fenders.

roll the fender some yes, it wont rub if you roll you fenders enough and stay at a decent height.
I ran a +32 offset wheel with a 205-50-15 and i had no problems rubing.
As far as studs go i like ARP kinda pricy though, or Doorman studs (most auto parts stores carry them) for a certian year cavalier and for a certian year TL or RL or CL. there is a great thread in this forum about studs. Easiest way to go would be ARP.
as fair as spacers im not sure
