Flat spots on tires from long term storage
hey-
my cars been sitting in storage for quite a bit now, going on a while year. Ive rolled it in and out of the garage a few times but its mostly been dormant, remaining in the same spot for a long time.
how long do i have before i should be concerned about flat spots developing in my tires? I put the stockies on in the front for easy wrenching, but im worried about the rears.
what are your opinions?

Not for a long, long time.
6 months ago I pulled my Datsun out of storage where it had been sitting for 4+ years. The tires had leaked down to about 12psi or so and the rims were not sitting on ground pinching the tire. I inflated them and they were fine, no flat spots.

If you are parking on concrete you may want to lay down carpet or cardboard under the tires. The lime? or something in the concrete can damage the rubber over a long time.
