Sup fellas(and ladies)? I'm looking to do a y7 to y8 head swap on my 99 cx.... What do you guys think of this cylinder head.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=true Good price? I was gonna go ahead and order that and get the intake manifold, throttle body, gaskets, bolts, and ecu later....(by the way is that all i need? Kinda new to DIY) Thanks in advance for all your help! 3 weeks ago I did that swap on my 99 DX. All you mentioned is pretty much all you will need. You will also need a knock sensor if you use the 96-00 ex ecu. I think you can do better on the price. I got mine which was in great condition for $140 shipped off honda-tech.

 

i was thinking the same thing about the price but it only has 3,000 some odd miles on it. i was offered 115 shipped for one with 90,000 miles on it... that one with shipping if it stays at 200 will be 215 shipped with 3,000 miles... Worth it? (About how much would the rest of what i named cost?) Thanks

Around $500 with all the little things added. If you feel that the mileage is worth the extra few bucks then go for it. It definitely looks clean.
