dont beat yourself up so hard. maybe youre dyslexic, have a learning disorder, whatever. big deal.

fiberglass can be laid over most foams just fine. i would adhere wallboard insulating foam sheets in whatever rough shape i needed. then shape with a planer, surform and sandpaper. plaster of paris and ground up foam pellets makes a sort of filler putty, or you could use some kinda of painters putty. id lay 2 or 3 layers of 4-6OZ woven fiberglass over the shaped foam and then finish the master as if it were standard bodywork. then make a fiberglass mold off of that, and finally start popping reproductions out of the mold with 6 OZ weave cloth.
