Any time you have a problem such as this one, it is best to pull the head and remedy the situation. This is not a good situation. And leaving it is not going to make anything better. You will have to drill out the old threads and use a Heli-Coil or similar thread insert to fix it. Also, you might want to go with studs while you are at it. Studs have the advantage of not being turned under a load (and thus galling the threads).

i wouldn't use the Helicoil stuff.. heard many horror stories about them coming apart etc.. go with these ---> http://www.timesert.com/

We'll... I was planning a complete head to toe rebuild in January. Should I be able to daily drive it like this for the next month or so without wapring my head or further damge. I mean it is ONE bolt and my head gasket has 20k miles on it without leakage so far.

i personally wouldnt risk it, pull the head and see what the problem is, should take you a day to do the whole thing, a day is worth not warping a head, plus you may have to pull it anyways in case your headgasket DOES start leaking preventative maintenance is a good thing
