Default Aluminized piping and heat

Hey guys. I'm building my manifold and am in a little dilema. I decided not to shave my collector(just in case the mani ever has to be flanged for T3) to fit the T25 flange. Instead I am going to do a 2.5" to 2" transition. I was wondering if 16 gauge aluminized steel piping will be ok? Can it take heat? Maybe I should just try to find some 16ga. stainless local. Thanks.

I don't know that I'd try it that close to the turbo. I think I'd stick with stainless....even if you have to order it.

I was able to find some stainless local afterall. Only 16 gauge, but it should hold up hopefully. eLusive, I should have ordered a transisition from you guys last week, but I thought I was going to shave the collector down.. Well i didn't and didn't really want to pay for next day shipping Thanks.
