This is just michigan, we roll at 100+ mph like on the way to the gap (from OH)
and we're there in no time....and I probably get another ticket.

 

Hehe...we rolled 120 on the way back too We even ran up to 135+ a couple of times - that was fun!

Anyhow, I'm a little worried about the snow now since I still have my stockers on You wouldn't believe how terrible that thing handles in the snow we just got...I need to make a trip to Tire Discounters SOON!

Yeah, I'd believe you, I bought mine two years ago in Feb in Cleveland.
It was snowing and when I first got it home I had to have two people help push
it up the driveway, RE010's suck in snow!! My R's chillin' in my garage on some snow's now (drive up here and get them), I'll put your stockers on for the winter!

 

Well, I did have some Rotas and the snow tires on order, then I hit a dog and decided to pay for the repairs out of my pocket which didn't leave me w/ enough to get the wheels/tires too.

 

I'll try to make it, Sun @ 1:00 pm in the honda both, say by the new SI??

Anybody who goes to the Detroit Auto Show, let me know if the Evolution is at the Mitsu display. The only info I have heard about it is that it is to arrive in the States in October. I would assume that it would be introduced at one of the auto shows this year.

LOL, I do happen to have a connection. Heck, last year I opened the door in an AMG Benz and none other than Kid Rock was sitting in the drivers seat scoping it out. That was pure chance, but fun nonetheless.

I'll make sure I rip your boys a new one for making the new Si so heavy. And hey, gotta have a Honda for each autox class, right?

Laura told me not to look up pics of the Honda show on the net so I would be surprised when I got there....I told her I've seen the Pilot for almost a year now....yeah...that's what I'm talking about!!

Still would be nice to see some other booths when it is less crowded though--enjoy!

Oh yeah, the more classes you can compete in the better! I'm up to 4 I've competed in so far, and I'm all set for a smack down on STS this year with the hatch. Well, not really, but the car is a lot better. What happened to it being a winter beater??

Thursdays at the show are awesome! No crowd at all and all displays are open. Heck, we even get a free dinner out of it.

And the 93 is the daily beater. The 91 Si is going to be a STS/STX car--haven't decided which yet. It is pretty much ready though for STS if I leave it there.

I'll have my digital camera and take all the good shots of the Honda booth. I'll make sure to get the new Focus Si, err... I mean Civic Si.

 

Man...don't make me start preaching on why it has to be like this. I already had to lecture someone else on another board. I'm not saying I like or don't like it, but it's what Honda feels the majority of the people want. Honda doesn't build the civic specifically for the people on this board, as much as I wish they did! Honda gives you a great base to work with, a little heavy maybe!..you guys can do your own thing to mod it. Buy a body kit or something. It doesn't matter if none of us on this board like it, as long as a ton of "normal" buyers buy it, it puts food on my table, and a ton of mods on my car.

p.s. it was driving around near columbus one day about two months ago, where was your camera then? You could have had a nice sneek peek for free!
Heck, you could have smoked it in your R!!

I will also add that it does in fact kind of bother me that we have a car that could ever be confused with a focus, but if people like it, and it sells, More mods for me. You don't see Honda cutting 20,000 jobs. We're introducing 5 models in about one year. Then Acura gets some loving for 2004! Yeah....rolling rolling rolling!!

I'm just giving you crap about the Si. I know it was designed for the mass market so we must take what mother Honda gives us. However, we were spoiled in the 90's, and it seems weight has put the damper on that to some degree. Oh well, it should be a nice car.

And hey, I wouldn't need the R to smoke it...my 93 would have done just fine And I'm waiting for you to find a job for me up there. You sure they don't need a sys admin?
