if you guys read my other posts about how my car dont start when its cold then you kinda already kno. but whenever the car sits out in the cold or when ever it cools down completly it doesnt start or it takes longer for it to fire the longer it sits. Its around 5 degres here so it stood no chance this week. it didnt ever try to fire all it does is keeps cranking over but never starts completly it will try to fire once every 10 tries but only for 1 second. i took it to a shop around here cuz i had no idea what it could be. I just got a AEM fuel rail and pressure regulator put on and i didnt tighten it all the way so a little gas was leaking.when i took it to the shop to see if they knew what was wrong they said my dizzy was bad and the fuel pressure regulator was leaking witch was causing it to not get enough fuel pressure . but i told them that ever since it got real cold it doesnt start even with the stock regulator and the 2 other dizzys i had on the car. they dont listen to me becuase they think im stupid so they put the stock one back on and i get a new dizy and they put that on. they had the car in the shop where its warm so it starts right up. if its not the dizzy or the fuel pressure i dont know what it could be. im thinkin some type of sensor now. i aslo told them to check the fuel filter, injectors, and pump they said that they are all fine and working ok. so i really dont kno waht to think anymore, they also put new plugs and wires in too and still nothing. soo you guys gotta help me please i kno that i cant be the oly one out there that has ever had this problem before or at least i hope not. also when the car is warm it runs better than any other car i have so thats where im thrown off. so if anyone can help or just give ideas please help, its very very appreciated, i have some spare parts laying around also if anyone needs anything let me kno to see if i got it, ill hook it up for free if you can tell me wahts wrong

 

have you tried taking off the positive terminal to the battery for 10 minutes, then touching it to the ground, then reconnecting it. that would reset the ecu. (could also pull the hazard fuse for a while)

if the engine runs strong when its warm it might be the FITV is totally broken, its supposed to up the idle when its cold. if it was stuck closed perhaps it could impede the engine from starting only when its cold.

how thick is the oil you use?

what did the shop say about fuel pressure?

compression test at any point?

running at least 50% antifreeze in the rad (dumb question i know)
