need quick ecu help.
my check engien came on. ecu flashes 1 time when i first urn the key and then it goes 9 times.
im away from home and will be til after xmas. anyone with a manual please help me out.

Try unplugging your battery for about 1 min(or hazard fuse). And if that doesnt work unplug your ECU and see if that makes the CEL go away. If those 2 doesnt solve it. Its your distributor.

thats a self test flash signaling the ecu is in good working order. that used to freak me out when i first did my swap until someone told me, thought you might like to know as well.
solid red light is the old 'time to buy a new ecu' sign.
