Upgrading an integra gsr with a skunk 2 intake manifold. Goal is 215 whp all motor. Is a 70mm throttle body too big? Anyone has an idea of whats best? And what cold air intake will work with my intake setup (skunk2 mani). I know that if i get it too big(throttle body), then some decrease in performance can happen.

 

68mm will work well for 215whp. ive also seen 70mm and its fine.

first what motor what mods or your setup ? gsr 1.8 with a skunk 2 manifold any other stuff ? cams, headers, i say 65mm for now till i know more

 

Its a 1.8 Japan GSR stock motor, headers, exhaust, skunk mani, (planning for cold air intake, cam gears, other stuff upgrading just about everything except for engine internals) for now at least

 

Just make sure the throttle body you buy is port matched to that manifold.

 

Since the skunk2 intake manifold inlet is 64mm, I'm going to have to say....64mm TB. The GSR one can be ported to 64mm.

 

Good luck getten 215 wheel HP with out touching internals.
