heater motor dead in ef..can i swap out for a..
okay...my heater motor in my ef is current dead..not working..i drove in the cold for 4hrs..from mn to wi...my brother in law was using the car for work cause he recently got is teg stolen..okay..to the problem...the heater motor doesnt work..cant even hear a the motor running or heat comming out..i have a spare crx heater motor that i took out from my "race" car..i was wondering if anyone or anybody has done it, and if its possible..come on guys help me out..its winter and the cold is freakin killing me..guys help me out..thanks..
If the heater motor is dead, it is easy to replace. The motor is located under the glove box. The thing you have to do is take the glove box off, this will make the job very easy. The screw connecting the right side vent is a reach but with a swivel and 12 in extension will make it easier. Just pull the car in garage, it will take about a hour.
Oh yeah, don't use a old motor. Just replace it with a new from autozone, pep boys, etc. They cost about 30 buxs.
