Ok some of you may think wat im about to tell yall is funny, but it really pist me off. Well as I was driving to work monday I notice that the shifter was really close to my leg basically hitting my leg in 4th gear, then I hear a loud thump. I pull into work as i am draggin the motor on the drivers side. I pop the hood and to my suprise my buddies "custom" motor mount has failed on my ***. Well I let it sit for the rest of the day until we finally get another cheap as custom mount in there, I put more oil in it since the pan has a big hole in it so i could run it the 3 minuite drive home. I started the ****** up and it shakes rattles knocks and sounds like mettel grinding so i know its fucked. Basicall i have 800 to spend on a swap and i was thinking d15b vtec anyone got any other opinions?

 

ouch,i had something similar happen a while back,if you only have 800 go get a zc.complete bolt in affair.you can pick them up for pretty cheap,hell you can prolly get 2 for $800.sohc or dohc your choice

 

Well I do have a d15b non vtec motor, could i make a mini me out of it?

D16A1?!? Why would anyone swap a 86-89 Integra D16A1 into a 4g Civic? You meant D16A6 right? The 4g Si engine?
