<FONT COLOR="royalblue"> My Fuel gauge is erratic. It fluctuates when I come to complete stops, sometimes it reads normal and then out of nowhere it goes down below the E. Once I'm in motion, it goes back up. Also the dome light only turns on when I open the passenger side door. </FONT>

 

the drivers door switch is probably done they are pretty inexpensive 10$, as far as the gauge goes check the ohms at the sending unit dunno what they are supposed to be but a service manual will tell you. I replaced the sending unit in my vx 10k ago for the same thing.
