couple questions on swap
i have a 1990 civic hatchback DX and i put a b18a1 in it well when i put the linkage on when ever i put it in gear it moved back and forth like it wasnt n gear what could be wrong with that and my second problem is...the plug running from the car and the plug running from the engine by the resistor box the two green ones are pluged n on the resistor box but there are two that dont plug n thgether what do i do????
i have the same swap. the shift linkage problem should be an easy fix. where the linkage meets the tranny shaft(thing) you need this little circle clip or a bolt that fits TIGHTLY.or the bushings in the shifter could be bad. and i dont understand about the resistor box unless they are two of the same plugs in that case couldnt u just cut off the one plug and put on the plug that goes right in.
