GC spring rates???
I know this might be better suited for the auto-x forum but I would hope that you guys know also. Does anyone know the spring rates on GC's coilovers (sleeve and spring style) for an EG hatch?

I think the "Off the shelf" system that local stores would have in stock should be 350F/250R or 300F/250R. If you special order them through your local shop, or off GC's website, you can specify your own personal rate.

Off-the-shelf rates are 350f/250r.
As mentioned though, you can request any rates you want from Ground Control at no extra charge when you order your coilovers. They use Eibach ERS springs, which come in 25 lbs-in increments IIRC.

Along these lines, I recently bough GC's for my EG...they were used when I bought them, so how would I tell what the spring rates are on them? Would it say somewhere? I know, sort of a newb question
yeah, there are 3 numbers on the spring, one is the diameter (should be 250) one is the rate (mine are 400lb fr and 500lb rear) and the next is the length (mine are 700 and 800)

Close...
First number: Free length
Second number: I.D of spring
Third number: Working rate of spring
Example: 0800.0250.0450
An 8" long spring with a 2.5" I.D. with a rate of 450#
I personally like Hypercoils. More consistent with the rates.
