Default Front brake recommendation 98 ls

Hi. I have a 98 ls 2 dr and have a front warped disc. Short of the AEM big brake kit, what are some good aftermarket rotors/pads for this car and what would I spend/expect to see in the way of improvement. I just do street driving and do not need huge performance or 1/4 mile stuff. Many Thanks in advance. -R

I know there is a value line of Stillen rotors. I believe I was going to pay about 400 dollars all around for slotted rotors and new pads. So i would assume that just rotors would be cheaper.

I drive hard on the street and road race occassionally, and I also replaced my rotors with Brembo OE (original equipment) over the crossdrilled/slotted ones for PLENTY of reasons (do a search on why).. I also recommend the Hawk HPS's over the Porterfields, EBCs, and Axxis Metals.. They are the best, imo, after exhaustive research (not on message boards)..

As for bigger brake setups, I don't recommend going up one inch from stock with a fastbrakes.com setup, this is more of an option for people like me with DX civics where u can go up about 2" from stock.. If u want them for the look or if u plan on using them for roadracing or such, the AEMs will make u run some 16" inch rims, but mostly 17" rims all the time.. This creates a problem for some people (me included), and may not be the best solution..

Get the OE rotors, u can find them for $120 shipped (for all four).. http://collettimotorsports.com/specials.shtml
